For all citizens, information is paramount in the making of decisions to enable participation in all aspects of life. It’s true to say disabled people are particularly disadvantaged in this area. DPOC works closely with Citizen Information Services (CIS) to redress this issue. Also disabled people make direct contact with us seeking information.

- Many people fear identification when investigating issues in their lives so we will seek information to protect anonymity
