Our Aims
The DPOC aims to empower and enable people with disabilities, giving choice and control over our own lives. One of our main objectives is the assurance of quality user-led/needs-led services. We aim to:
- Ensure that people with disabilities achieve independent living through the ongoing development of quality user-led/needs led services.
- Guarantee that people with disabilities are at the centre of all discussions and decisions made by and about them.
- Uphold disabled people’s right to equal citizenship by ensuring they have choices as well as control over their own lives.
